BUTTERFINGERS *GF/DF/Refined Sugar Free*
Parenting must be so tough to find the balance of letting kids have candy, but not wanting them to load up on preservatives, refined sugars, artificial colors and flavors!
For all parents that don’t want your kids to get into all of THAT this Halloween, here is a recipe with #lalapproved, REAL ingredients! Tastes like the real thing, I was shook the first time I tried.
Bars:
- 1 c crunchy peanut butter (not oily!)
- 1/2 c Rolled Oats
- 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 3/4 c Dried Mulberries (for that chewy candy texture)
- 2 tbsp Vanilla Protein Powder
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 2 tbsp Almond Flour
- 1/2 c Three Wishes Cinnamon Cereal
Coating:
3/4 c Hu Kitchen Chocolate Gems
Throw all of these ingredients in a food processor, shape into bar shaped rectangles and freeze! After a few hours, melt Hu Kitchen Chocolate Gems, cover and freeze again! Makes 9. ENJOY
